ABOUT
ABOUT ME
I attended The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio for Landscape Architecture where I learned to appreciate both traditional design and historic landscape preservation. Earning my Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from Ball State University furthered my interest in historic preservation and methods for combining new design with culturally-important landscapes. I am proud to be able to apply creativity, constructability, technology, and cost efficiency to both contemporary and historic projects.
WHAT I'VE DONE
I'm a Virginia SWaM-certified, licensed Landscape Architect with over 20 years of experience with professional jobs and internships in 5 states and in both public and private sectors. My portfolio includes park master plans and playgrounds, streetscapes, downtown revitalization plans, preservation plans and cultural landscape reports, multiple types of trails, permitting work, and interpretive signs. My scope of practice ranges from conceptual planning, design development, and construction documentation through bid phase management, and construction administration.
