With the help of Julie L. Basic, PLA, Little Fork Episcopal Church secured over $200,000 in Federal grant funding to implement major components of their 2022 Landscape Master Plan.

Ms. Basic wrote the successfulapplication for a Recreational Trail Program (RTP) grant which will provide the Church with funding to design and construct an accessible path. The path will host interpretive elements and create a free, community-wide recreation experience. The application was highly-ranked and one of the first awarded to a private non-profit organization.

Ms. Basic also wrote the successful application for a National Park Service American Battlefield Protection (ABPP) Battlefield Interpretive Grant. This 50/50 matching grant will allow the Church to create an Interpretive Plan that will guide education and story-telling efforts throughout the property.
