The City of Charlottesville is investigating options for providing access to the Rivanna River for non-motorized boats, canoes, and kayaks at Riverview Park. Ms. Basic created a series of 5 quick sketches to show the feasibility of various entry points, parking and drop-off options, avoidance of wetlands and outfalls, and minimizing built work within easements. The sketches will be reviewed by City Parks & Recreation planners and eventually be turned into construction documents.
